
A shooting on Saturday night at a Sanford, Florida, nightclub has left at least 10 people injured, and among them was Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell.
The shooting occurred just after midnight Sunday morning at the Cabana Live club after an argument escalated into a weapon being pulled.
The team shared in a statement that Dell has been released from the hospital and suffered no significant injuries in the shooting.
The Seminole County Sheriff’s Department responded to the call and confirmed that no one was killed as a result of the shooting, and all 10 injuries were deemed to be non-life-threatening.
The sheriff’s department shared that it had arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with the shooting. He has been charged with attempted homicide.
Police shared that the suspected gunman was apprehended by the security team at the nightclub.
As for Dell, the Texans shared that they were in contact with him and his family and that he remained in “good spirits.”
