(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Cheers, boos, gasps and shouts of admiration for Sister Jean: just some of the many sounds inside of a rocking Rogers Park bar for Loyola Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament battle on Friday.

Bulldog Ale House was a madhouse as the Ramblers took on the Ohio State Buckeyes, with many describing the atmosphere as “electric.”

“You can just tell how much this community loves basketball and it’s amazing to be a part of,” one fan said.

Kyle Davis wasn’t hard to spot in the packed bar, in his bright red Ohio State garb.

“I’ll probably run back home and change,” he said. “I do not want to be in this for any much longer than this game is.”

When the final buzzer sounded and the Ramblers season had come to an end, fans funneled for the exit, with high hopes for the future.

Loyola lost 54-41.
