(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Chicago's Revolution Brewing is jumping into the non-alcoholic beverage game.
Super Zero is a sparkling water with the flavor of hops. Revolution spokesman John Carruthers the new offering is made with a different process, so you won't get the bitter flavor that comes with a hoppy alcoholic beer. You might get notes of orange or peach, though, he says.
The N/A, or non-alcoholic beverage space, is growing, with mocktails and N/A beer, wine and spirits. Carruthers says Super Zero represents a change of pace.
"We're brewers and even we take a whole lot of Super Zeros home and love the sparkling hop water. No one drinks all the time. It's important to have something you can reach for on any occasion."
