(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago Christkindlmarket in the Loop is “the most overcrowded holiday market in the United States and Canada,” according to a new ranking based on Yelp reviews.
The new ranking from CanadaSportsBetting says the event on Daley Plaza had the most reviews saying it was “too crowded” or “busy.”
Last year, the attraction drew 1.3 million visitors. In recent years, the market has expanded to additional locations at Wrigley Field and several suburbs.
However, the Wrigley Field site is not operating this year because of the National Hockey League’s Winter Classic being held at the ballpark.
The Christkindlmarket is in Aurora this year.
