(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Just in time for Halloween, the Chicago History Museum is putting some of its creepiest dolls on display to help teach Chicago history.
When you hear the word “dolls,” you probably think of Ken and Barbie. But if you are more of a Chucky fan, you'll love the return of the “Haunted Dolls and History Horrors.”
This year, curator Charles Bethea said, patrons can go on a scavenger hunt for 13 dolls that are hiding. Each represent a strange Chicago tale from the pages of history.
“We have dolls that were part of the Great Chicago Fire, we have other dolls that were purchased even during the time of the Civil War,” he said. “They literally come from almost every corner where you could think dolls would be.”
“Haunted Dolls 2: The Riddles of the Wayward Spirit” will be at the Chicago History Museum from Sept. 30 through Nov. 5.
