To celebrate our region's innovators, Chicago Innovation is now accepting nominations for the 24th annual Chicago Innovation Awards. If you've launched a new product, service or organization in the past 4 years, you can enter here.
Nominees can cut across all industries, large corporations and startups, for-profits and non-profits, high-tech, low-tech and no-tech. The innovation has to have been developed in the Chicago region to be eligible. All of those who work toward building the innovation community in the Chicago region should be recognized. For this reason, all organizations nominated for the Chicago Innovation Awards will be recognized at the Nominee Celebration in September. There is no fee to submit a nomination, and we encourage organizations to self-nominate.
Winners Receive:
- Recognition at the Chicago Innovation Awards
- Invitation to ring the NASDAQ Bell in Times Square
- Meeting with Cook County President Toni Preckwinkle
- Recognition in local and national press
The top 100 finalists will each be awarded a scholarship to “The Practical Innovator” hosted through Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management ($2,500 value). This executive education course teaches the practical skills of innovation. These top 100 finalists are also profiled on our website during the People’s Choice Award voting, in which thousands of Chicagoans will view the innovations and vote for their favorites.
Out of the past 351 winners of the Chicago Innovation Awards since 2002, 98% are still in business. 66 have been acquired with exit values exceeding $118 billion.
