CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Migrants at a facility in Chicago needed medical help yesterday, possibly suffering from food poisoning.

Chicago Fire officials said 12 people were taken from the migrant shelter in the 1300 block of North Elston for "gastrointestinal issues," none are critically ill.

The City told the Chicago Sun-Times authorities are investigating whether the individuals share a common food source.

Officials said they were taken to four different hospitals in non-life-threatening conditions.
