CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - The Chicago Park District is kicking off its summer pool season.
Beginning today, nearly 50 outdoor pools will be open. Many of the Park District’s indoor pools will still be available as well. The outdoor pools will remain open until August 20. Open-swim sessions are free to the public.
The Park District notes that most pools do feature ADA stairs, pool lifts and zero-depth entry, however some parks that have pool lifts might be limited with direct wheelchair access.
