(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The family of a Chicago woman reported missing in Japan says she has been found.
A missing persons poster with pictures of 29-year-old Kandace Schipper was shared widely online. An update posted Wednesday evening said she was located.
"We’re grateful for every email, call, and share and are now focused on bringing her home safely," a family statement said.
According to her family, Kandace arrived in Tokyo May 8 and was in contact with friends and family every day until June 4.
