Chicago's Walnut Room taking reservations for holiday dining

(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Summer only just departed last week, but the Walnut Room at Macy's on State Street is now taking reservations, if that’s your thing.

The Walnut Room is set to open for its traditional holiday dining starting Nov. 4, and people can starting booking their tables now.

Guests will get to enjoy their meals in the massive 17,000-square-foot dining room adorned with wood paneling and Austrian chandeliers.

Holiday festivities will kick off with the lighting of the Great Tree.

Also making a return are “Breakfast with Santa” and the Walnut Room's commemorative holiday mugs.
