City of Chicago and Park District team up to host online Halloween costume contest

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWRADIO) -- The City of Chicago and the Chicago Park District are sponsoring their first-ever, online Halloweek Costume Contest.

Individuals and families are encouraged to upload photos of their costumes to enter the Halloweek Photo Contest. Photos of pets in costume can also be submitted. The contest is open to Chicago residents only.

Photos can be uploaded to www.chicagohalloweek.org to qualify to win a 10 pound Blommer Chocolate Bar. The contest runs Oct. 23 through Oct. 31.

Participants will be featured on @ChicagoParks & @MyChiMyFuture Instagram accounts throughout the week. Only one photo entry per person is permitted and five winners will be chosen randomly during an official drawing. Winners will be announced in an Instagram post @ChicagoParks and at www.chicagohalloweek.org on Nov. 2.
