(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – A trade show for the coffee industry returns to Chicago’s McCormick Place this weekend.
The annual Specialty Coffee Expo brings together coffee enthusiasts from across the globe -- from roasters to equipment manufacturers and coffee shop owners.
Madison Frye is visiting the expo from Grand Rapids, Michigan and said she can’t really get enough coffee.
“If I have a good day, it’s because I have coffee, and it’s part of the ritual waking up,” she says.
The three-day trade show includes several competitions including the Latte Art Championships. The expo is one of the biggest, attracting thousands of people every year.
