(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – A return of dangerously cold temperatures and a dusting of snow were expected Friday.
After a relative warmup in the middle of this week, temperatures were expected to fall to between 10 degrees and 20 degrees on Friday, not factoring in wind chills.
Up to 1 to 3 inches of blowing snow was forecast for the Chicago region overnight and into Friday, with additional “Lake Effect” snow possible for Northwest Indiana later Friday.
