CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Twenty years after their first date, a couple thanked the staff at a bar in Bucktown in a big way.
A married couple, who wished to remain anonymous, had their first date a Club Lucky, located at Wabansia and Honore in Bucktown, 20 years ago.
Ever since then, the staff said the couple visits Club Lucky every year on Feb. 12 - the anniversary of their first date - and they sit at the same booth.
After their annual visit to Club Lucky on Friday, the staff noticed the couple left a tip that outweighed the tab: $2,000; as well as a note that said thank you for 20 years of good memories, excellent food, and outstanding service.
The $2,000 tip was shared with the staff.
