CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A crash involving a stolen SUV on the Mag Mile in downtown Chicago Wednesday night sent seven people to the hospital, including three children.
Chicago police said a Jeep Cherokee ran a red light at Chicago and Michigan at about 9 p.m. near the Water Tower and hit three other cars at the intersection.
Police said a 16-year-old boy driving the stolen Cherokee ran away but was caught by police. He and his female passenger were taken to the hospital and placed into custody. Charges are expected soon.
Two women from the other cars as well as three kids between 4 and 6-years-old were also taken to the hospital.
Police say none of the injuries were life-threatening.
