CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- CTA Blue Line trains are running with residual delays following an earlier derailment at the Harlem station Wednesday morning that suspended service between Rosemont and Jefferson Park for more than two hours.
The CTA suspended service around 5:35 a.m. for the derailment.
Shuttle buses were available between Rosemont and Jefferson Park to provide connecting service.
Trains were back up and running in both directions around 8 a.m., albeit on the same track, the CTA said. Normal service on both tracks resumed at about 8:20 a.m.
The CTA said some trains and platforms may be busier than usual as crews work to restore normal service.
Allow for extra travel time.
