(WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Cubs great Ryne Sandberg updated the world Friday on his cancer battle.

Sandberg said his second round of chemotherapy is complete and that he's having “pain free days,” and that there's a little bit of nausea, but “little stress.”

He said he's wearing light blue as much as he can for prostate awareness, even posting a picture of his wife Margaret holding a bright blue ice cream cone.

Sandberg has metastatic prostate cancer and used his latest Instagram check-in to push awareness, testing, and early detection.
