DePaul University warns of man spitting on women at both campuses

CHICAG0 (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- DePaul University is warning students on both campuses about a man who’s been spitting on people.

A Safety Alert issued to students said, “We have several reported incidents of an individual approaching females on or near the Lincoln Park and Loop campuses. He makes vulgar and derogatory remarks to the victims, then spits on them. Most of the incidents have taken place on the public sidewalks around the campuses."

The offender is a male white with a stocky build. He has long dark hair with some grey. He sometimes wears his hair in a bun. The offender has tattoos that cover his arms and hands. He also has facial tattoos and a large multi-colored tattoo on his neck with the letters BEAUTE.

If someone sees the offender on campus, they are asked to contact Public Safety. The phone number for Lincoln Park campus is 773-325-7777 and for the Loop campus is 312-362-8400. If you are the victim, the university said to file a Chicago Police report.
