Our PAWS Chicago Pet of the Week is a handsome fella named Artie. Artie is a very charming 2-and-a-half-year-old boy who will use his big brown eyes to convince you to love and cuddle him. PAWS Chicago has treated him for various minor medical issues. Artie has spent time in homes so PAWS has plenty of notes on him, and he is now ready for his new family. He will even shake paws to formalize your adoption agreement.

Artie is part of PAWS' semi-annual Big Love Adoption Event this weekend. On Saturday, Oct. 28 and Sunday, Oct. 29, all dogs 40 pounds or more are half off their adoption fees. Give Artie and his big-hearted friends a look at the PAWS Chicago Adoption Center on North Clybourn in Lincoln Park. It is recommended you visit pawschicago.org to make an appointment and get matched up with the best dog for you to save you time, but walk-ins are also welcome.
