DOLTON (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Another federal subpoena has been served at the Dolton Village Hall, seeking years of records.
The new subpoena was served last Tuesday. The same day that voters overwhelmingly rejected Mayor Tiffany Henyard’s re-election bid.
The language is unambiguous. The "subpoena seeks records pursuant to an official criminal investigation."
"[We're still dealing] with problems that Mayor Henyard created, and that's going to be the next two or four years," Brown told CBS News Chicago. "We've got a long road ahead of us, a lot to work with, a lot to deal with, that Mayor Henyard created this monster."
Mayor Henyard was not present for Monday’s meeting of the village board.
She has denied any wrongdoing and has said the trustees are corrupt.
