A Bolingbrook man will appear in court after an alleged illegal possession of a loaded rifle in Downer's Grove Wednesday.
Gordon Martin, 23, is facing several charges after police found him with a loaded rifle and unloaded handgun at the Shell gas station at Ogden Avenue around 7:38 p.m.
Officers were called to the gas station about a man overfilling his gas tank.
When police arrived, they found Martin drunk. His car had two flat tires, the front bumper was missing and the two guns in were in the car.
Martin was denied a pre-trial release. His next scheduled court appearance is Nov. 16.
