(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Early voting for next month’s primary election started Thursday in some of the collar counties.
In McHenry County, early voters can start casting ballots at the county administration building in Woodstock. Ten other sites will open next month, and ballots will be going out in the mail to those who requested them.
Residents of DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake and Will counties can also start early voting now.
Those who live in Chicago must wait until Feb. 15 to early-vote at the Board of Elections Super Site at Lake and Clark.
Voters in suburban Cook County have the longest wait. They can’t vote early until Feb. 21. That happens at 69 West Washington. More early voting sites open closer to the election.
