(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The Chicago Board of Elections says the two early voting sites in the Loop will remain closed until further notice.

The delay stems from an appellate court order as judges considered whether to keep the name of candidate for judge on the ballot.

Now, the court lifted a Stay of Enforcement ordered earlier this month and ruled the candidate’s name be removed from the ballot.

To comply, the Board of Elections must reprogram all Early Voting touchscreen machines to reflect this change, officials said Friday.
