CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A Chicago man is facing federal charges for allegedly trafficking “ghost guns.”

22-year-old Devon Dow is alleged to have sold seven “ghost guns” this year, five different times in a parking lot on the South Side, in the Grand Crossing neighborhood, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. “Ghost guns” are defined as firearms that do not have an identifiable serial number and are constructed from parts of different sources.

Dow had sold the “ghost guns” to an undercover law enforcement officer.

A hearing is scheduled for this Friday.
