A massive plume of dark, black smoke coming from the facility on United Lane near York Road could be seen for several miles.
Multiple fire departments responded to the scene, using elevated water streams to extinguish the flames.
It took crews nearly an hour to get the fire under control.
At least one burn victim was transported to an area hospital, Duran said.
