(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Residents in a southwest village of Cook County are now displaced following a devastating apartment fire.
The fire started around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The cause of the fire at 8500 block of South 88th Terrace in Justice is still unknown.
Fire on the top floor spread, causing the roof at top two floors of the three-story building to collapse.
The amount of water damage made the building completely uninhabitable.
There were no injuries. The Red Cross responded to help people that were displaced.
