The first one happened at 5:45 p.m. Chicago police say two 15 year-olds were standing near the sidewalk in Brighton Park when someone shot them-hitting one boy in the leg and the other in the arm.
Five hours later, police said a 14 year-old was seriously wounded in Englewood when two people stepped out of a car and began firing. He was hit in the legs.
In Calumet Heights, a 14 year-old girl and a 16 year-old boy were inside a garage at around 11:00 p.m. when they heard gunshots and felt pain. They were both taken to the hospital initially in fair condition with multiple leg wounds, while the girl was also hit in the hand.
