EVANSTON (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - This morning attorneys representing former Northwestern football players are expected to share allegations of sex abuse and racial discrimination on the team.

John Doe played for Northwestern from 2018 through last year and alleges
freshmen were forced to perform nude acts in the locker room while Coach
Pat Fitzgerald enabled a culture of racism on the team. Attorneys from Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C.filed the lawsuit with an outside firm that was part of million dollar sex abuse settlements at Michigan and Michigan State.

Eight former players have hired attorney Ben Crump who said they have found a vast array of abuse on the team.

Northwestern has said it has taken steps to eliminate hazing and will introduce more soon.
