(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Highland Park police have made an arrest in the case of antisemitic vandalism found in the northern suburb last week.
Highland Park officials say police arrested a juvenile Tuesday after an investigation into the defacement of a garbage can in a subdivision.
Someone used blue painter’s tape to leave a swastika, a star of David and the word “Jew” on the container.
Due to the age of the suspect, Highland Park would only say it’s working with the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office on charges.
