Three people were injured when a motorist lost control of the car he was driving and crashed into a pole early Monday in Lincoln Square on the Northwest Side.

The crash happened about 3 a.m. in the 4700 block of North Western Avenue when a 56-year-old man behind the wheel of a Buick LaCrosse lost control and slammed into a pole, Chicago police said.
