(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Organizers have released the list of gas stations that Chicago businessman and mayoral candidate Willie Wilson says will participate in his latest gasoline giveaway on Saturday.
A message posted on social media by Wilson's foundation said 15 stations in the city of Chicago and 15 others in the Cook County suburbs will host his planned $1 million gas giveaway.
Most of the city locations are on the South and West sides.
The giveaway is set to start at 7 a.m. and is supposed to continue until the money's gone.
According to a press release from Chicago, volunteers will be stationed at each gas station location to assist with traffic. Participants are allowed to line-up at 7 a.m. and will receive a sticker to indicate their position in line. Gas cans and other containers are not allowed.
