CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Loyola University's Sister Jean is adding to her list of accomplishments.

Sister Jean Schmidt is 103...and now she's a published author. Her memoir called "Wake Up with Purpose" will be released on February 28.

She said she always wanted to write a book, but was too busy to do so. She credits co-author Seth Davis with helping her get the book off the ground.

"He said, 'oh sure you have enough time, I'll just keep listening to you", Schmidt said.

"Wake up with Purpose" is more than just a title, she said. It's her philosophy of life.

"Because that's what I really do when I wake up in the morning. I thank God
for giving me the day, I don't know how many days I have left, but I thank him for that and say that I hope I do all for his honor and glory."
