(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Madonna, whose recent illness and hospitalization derailed her “Celebration Tour,” will be stopping in Chicago, a little later than originally intended.

The United Center, where the pop icon will be performing, announced Madonna will appear there on Feb. 1 and 2. She originally had been slated to come through Chicago this month, but health issues earlier this summer put her career-spanning tour on hold.

The 65-year-old Madonna – born Madonna Louise Ciccone in Bay City, Michigan -- reportedly had a serious bacterial infection and spent days in intensive care but has made a full recovery.
