CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Madonna shared a health update Monday after being hospitalized earlier this year as well as the fate of her tour.

The singer announced she's rescheduling the rest of her North American tour, including two dates in Chicago on August 9 and 10 at the United Center.

The new Celebration Tour was put on a temporary pause back in June after Madonna was admitted to a hospital with a serious bacterial infection.

The United Center has not yet confirmed new dates for the tour, and Live Nation, which is producing the tour, encouraged fans to “hold onto their tickets as they will be valid for the new dates once announced.”
