CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A Chicago man is charged in the shooting death of his ex-girlfriend.
Louie Foster, 32 has been charged with murder following the deadly shooting of China Mitchell, 33 inside an EZPAWN. It happened on the 4800 block of South Ashland on Monday.
Mitchell had previously been granted an order of protection against Foster, which expired in April.
The order also protected Mitchell’s three children-one of which she shared with Foster.
Police said Foster had broken into Mitchell’s home Christmas Day and said he was going to kill her and police gave her information on how to obtain a new order of protection or file charges.
Foster was hospitalized for a mental health evaluation and couldn’t be brought to court for a hearing.
