CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man has been arrested after climbing to the top of a 40-story office building in the Loop.

In an apparent publicity stunt, the man was seen around 10 a.m. Tuesday  dangerously scaling the side of Accenture Tower, located at 500 W. Madison near Ogilvie Transportation Center.

Numerous videos and photos posted to social media captured the man muscling up the high-rise, without a harness or rope.

The climber eventually reached the top of the building, and witnesses told WBBM they soon saw the man handcuffed, and being taken into a police squad car.

A tweet from the CEO of the conservative beer company Dad’s Ultra Right Beer identified the climber as Maison, the ‘Pro Life Spider-Man. He wrote that Maison was climbing in order to raise money for the pro-life organization Let Them Live and that the beer company was sponsoring the venture.

In what may or not be a coincidence, the Consulate General of Israel is located on the 31st floor of the Accenture Tower. It’s unclear if there was a connection to the stunt and the recent attack in Israel.
