CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- One person has died after a shooting in South Lawndale early Wednesday morning.
Chicago police said just after midnight, officers responded to a report of a person shot near S. Christiana Avenue and W. 30th Street.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a man unresponsive inside a white sedan with a gunshot wound to the left eye area.
He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The circumstances of the incident are unknown at this time and no one is in custody, police said.
