A man found unconscious in the water at Centennial Beach in Naperville on Thursday has died, officials said.
Officials responded about 6 p.m. to Centennial Beach, 500 W. Jackson Ave., and took the 27-year-old to Endeavor Edward Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the Naperville Park District said in a statement. His name has not been released.
The pool will be closed Friday, park district officials said.
No other information was available.
