(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A Lombard man who pleaded guilty to terrorism and child pornography charges has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Christian Frazee, 27, came to the attention of authorities nearly two years ago.

Lombard police were conducted extra patrols in summer 2020, amid social unrest following the death of George Floyd, when officers confronted Frazee near the village hall. He was wearing black closthing, a face covering and latex gloves, authorities said.

“There was a bat hanging out from his bag. He had a lighter in his left hand, and he had a Molotov cocktail in high right hand,” DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin said Wednesday.

As part of the investigation of the terrorism charge, Berlin said police got a warrant for Frazee’s cell phone and found hundreds of images and videos of child pornography.

In addition to the prison sentence, Frazee must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. The child-porn charge garnered him an additional three years, but it will be served concurrently with the 10-year sentence for the terrorism charge, authorities said.
