(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Police in far west suburban Elgin are seeking the public’s help after a man in a vehicle made inappropriate comments while following middle-school girls this week.
A female student from Abbott Middle School told police that the suspect approached girls between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday as they were walking home.
The vehicle the suspect was driving is a silver or beige Ford Edge.
Police will be providing extra patrols, officials said. Anyone with information about the incident can call police at 847-289-2600.
