WILL COUNTY (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A teenager from unincorporated Crete, missing since last week, has been found dead.
The Will County Sheriff’s Office said there had been continuous searches for 18-year-old Samuel Green since he was last seen on Wednesday.
It said another concerted effort was made on Sunday, near where he was last seen on Plum Valley Road. They used drones and officers on foot.
His body was discovered in a wooded area, under a drain pipe.
The cause of death is under investigation. Green was reported to have had a mental health condition.
He left a relative’s home without a coat or shoes.
