DES PLAINES (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Suburban police are looking for the hit-and-run driver responsible for injuries to a woman and her four-month old baby Thursday night.
Des Plaines police said the hit-and-run happened in the 900 block of East Oakton around 6:30 p.m.. A black BMW that was westbound on Oakton appeared to go out of control and hit a white Mazda SUV that was in a parking lot.
The woman and child were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two boys or men who had been in the BMW left the scene before police arrived.
