(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – A 27-year-old Wisconsin man faces felony charges after he allegedly fired a gun at a motorist on the Edens Expressway earlier this week during an apparent road-rage incident.

A motorist called 9-1-1 around noon Monday saying the driver of another car fired at him on I-94 near Old Orchard Road. The caller – a 25-year-old man from Antioch – was not injured.

Illinois State Police alerted police departments about the call, and Skokie police pulled over a Chevrolet Cruze driven by Dylan Creekpaum of Racine, Wisconsin. Police found a firearm on him and 500 grams of cannabis, state authorities said.

Creekpaum is charged with one count of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and one count of Possession of Cannabis, state police said.

His bond was set at $300,000. No further information was available.
