NAPERVILLE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Naperville police are investigating a crash-and-grab burglary targeting an Apple Store early Monday morning.

It was dark when the burglars used a Hyundai Elantra to drive into the store on Jefferson Avenue. The front of the store is all glass.

Three people jumped out and grabbed merchandise and got away in a vehicle described only as a dark-colored SUV.

The Hyundai had been reported stolen in Lisle.

This incident follows a pattern. There were five of these in Chicago in one week in October.
