CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Getting around in and around Grant Park is getting harder as crews prepare for the NASCAR event.

Balbo Drive is the latest closure between Michigan Avenue and DuSable Lake Shore Drive. There’s also reduced lanes on Jackson Drive. That will be closed entirely in Grant Park next week.

Ida B. Wells Drive is also closed.

There will be more closures starting on Sunday and continuing as the race approaches, including Roosevelt, part of DuSable Lake Shore Drive and part of Michigan Avenue.

Randolph will be the best way to get between Michigan Avenue and Lake Shore.

You can save yourself the hassle by avoiding Grant Park.
