(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A sweet, new exhibit is opening at the base of Chicago's Water Tower Place.

Inside the new Hershey's Super Sweet Adventure, you can make your way through a Twizzler's maze, try your hand at the Reese's Peanut Butter cannons, or enhance your flavors with Jolly Ranchers.

Curator and CEO of Original X Productions Stacy Moscatelli said the immersive experience is designed for all ages to enjoy and participate.

“Think that Hershey is that kind of American iconic brand, where we all have memories of, you know, our grandparents giving us our first Hershey's kiss, you know, grandma with a candy jar. And then obviously all of the holidays, you know, Hershey's a big part of that,” Moscatelli said.

The debut of the Hershey Super Sweet Adventure makes patrons a part of the chocolate making action.

Moscatelli, who curated the exhibit, said it's a story based experience with hands-on activities, and filled with plenty of senses and smells.

“You know, smell has such an iconic, such like, a nostalgic vibe. And we wanted to bring that because obviously Hershey is so iconic. So we wanted to bring smell, so we've been working with Hershey to figure out how to bring that to life. And I think it really hits the mark.”

Moscatelli says you'll also learn about how they make Twizzlers and wrap each Hershey's kiss. The new exhibit opens to the public this weekend.
