HARVEY (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Charges are pending against two men, accused of robbing a Harvey mail carrier at gunpoint earlier this month.

It happened the afternoon of Oct. 23 near 148th and Loomis. Harvey police said that’s where two men approached the on-duty mail carrier and robbed him at gunpoint before leaving the area in a vehicle that had extensive damage.

Authorities said video footage of that car led them to Xavier Starr of Lansing and  Malik Washington of Gary.

They were taken into custody this week. Police said Cook County State’s Attorney's Office is now reviewing the case.
