CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- After 40 years in business, an Andersonville restaurant is closing its doors.

In a Facebook post, Reza's announced the closure of its Andersonville location, and that it will continue to make deliveries in the area from its other two existing locations in Oak Brook and Evanston.

Reza's is known for it signature Persian dishes such as Koobideh, saffron rice, and other types of kabobs.

The closure of the Andersonville location comes only after a month after the location was downsized and just over a year after the restaurant faced tax and building code violations from the city.
