(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Portillo’s has announced plans to build three new locations in the Chicago area.
The restaurant chain’s famous chocolate cake, chocolate cake shake along with Chicago-style hotdogs, Italian beef sandwiches, cheese fries, burgers and salads soon will be served in Cicero, Algonquin and Rosemont.
The three new locations announced this week by Portillo’s will join more than 70 locations spanning several states.
Portillo’s is going big with the two new locations in Cicero and Algonquin, both with a capacity for more than 200 diners when seasonal outdoor patios at each location are in use.
The new location in Rosemont will be a pick-up-only model like the one in Joliet.
