
COOK COUNTY, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle will keep her position after beating challenger Former Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin Tuesday.
Preckwinkle assumed office in 2010. She previously was the 4th Ward alderman from 1911 to 2010. During her time as Cook Country Board President, she started the Cook County Promise Guaranteed Income Pilot and spoke out against the reversal of Roe v. Wade.
